About WheresgoldAU
WheresgoldAU is an independent Australian guide dedicated to one of the country's most iconic pokies: Where's the Gold by Aristocrat Gaming. Our mission is simple — give Australian players the most accurate, detailed, and unbiased information about this legendary slot.
Who We Are
We're a small team of iGaming writers, data analysts, and former industry professionals based in Australia. Our editorial team is led by Scott Logan, a 25-year veteran of digital marketing and iGaming who co-founded Bingoport.co.uk (sold for £10M) and represented Australia at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.
Scott brings a technical, commercially-grounded perspective to every review — evaluating RTPs, volatility models, bonus mechanics, and session value with the rigour of someone who has built and exited multiple gambling businesses.
Our Review Methodology
Every piece of information on WheresgoldAU is verified against official Aristocrat Gaming documentation and cross-referenced with independent testing lab data. Our reviews cover:
- Verified RTP figures from certified testing
- Volatility and hit frequency analysis
- Bonus mechanic deep-dives
- Real-money session testing across AU-licensed casinos
- Mobile compatibility testing on iOS and Android
Affiliate Transparency
WheresgoldAU participates in affiliate marketing programs with licensed Australian online casinos. When you click a casino link and register, we may earn a commission. This does not affect our editorial scores, rankings, or the accuracy of game information. We clearly mark all affiliate links.
Our Commitment to Responsible Gambling
We take responsible gambling seriously. All our content includes responsible gambling reminders, and we actively promote resources such as the National Gambling Helpline (1800 858 858) and BetStop. We do not accept advertising from unlicensed operators.
